Mentioning on Teams with dynamic group membership is not working?

Brass Contributor

Hi,

I created in a demo tenant a Team where the members are assigned by a dynamic group Membership rule.

Is it correct that the mentioning functionality is not working on such groups?

Thx

Jens

No, this shouldnt matter AFAIK! Check the members of the Team from teams and make sure the user(s) is a member! ( the dynamic group rules is working as expected ) you aren’t mentioning yourself right?

Can confirm that it should work with dynamic membership, as long as you see the user in the member list you should be able to use both @-mention  and @-less mentions.

@Linus Cansbyand @adam deltinger  you were right. I was too impatient, after a while, the members of the dynamic group were also displayed as team members. And after that mentioning works...

Thanks
