Is it possible to move a folder with files in it from one Team to another Team I just created? I don't see how to and it's really inconvenient to have to recreate the folder and re-upload the files in it in the new Team.  Something I'm not seeing?  Should be easy to move things around?

THanks!

Pam

Yes! Both from SharePoint and Teams!

From teams select the folder, click move or copy in the list of actions!
No browse the teams you are member of! Take notice you can use the up arrow up on the lest to browse backwards! Choose location!

@adam deltinger  You can move files between Teams but not a whole folder over.  There is no action listed to move a Folder over.. only when you select each file...

Solution
Click 'Open in SharePoint' from Teams. Then you can use the SharePoint UI which will land you in the same location to select the folder and use Move to. If your destination site is not available then you'll need to go to that site, use 'Open in SharePoint', then follow the site in the top right corner, then it'll be available to pick as a destination.

This SharePoint UI will be default inside of Teams for the files tab one of these days. Hopefully by or at SPC I'm hoping but who knows, it's been delayed for awhile now.
Yes, sorry! That’s true!! As I and also Chris mentioned, this has to be done via SharePoint :) and soon this won’t be necessary hopefully
I use a shared folder for different classes to gain access to the same content. That way I only have to go one place for edits and updates. Just add a sharepoint folder to Teams. It might even be from another Team, or a separate selfcontaining sharepoint site.
Yeah! Options are maby! I’ve created a library in sharepoint with read or edit permission on everyone! Add it as a librarytab or cloud storage!
