I can't access my teams page

Copper Contributor

I've been signed up to teams through school and have used it all last year and this year. Tonight I went to open my app and it popped up with this message "You're missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams for Baradene College". I have tried to sign out of my teams then back in but it keeps happening. I'm not too sure why it is doing this. Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks, Olivia

Hi @Livhyland

Is this happening across

- The desktop app
- The web app (login https://teams.microsoft.com
- The mobile app (for IOS/Android)

And when logging into https://login.microsoftonline.com can you see the Teams icon on the page or in the app launcher (waffle in the top left corner of the screen)?

If this is occurring across all the apps and you can't see Teams after logging into the 365 portal (I.e. on the page or the waffle) I would recommend escalating this with your administrator as it may be that your licence for Teams has been removed. Another reason could be that the service has been disabled by the administrator.

Hope that answers your question!

Best, Chris

That message specifically states that teams is not enabled. Your admin has to go into the Microsoft Teams Admin center under Settings > Services & add-ins > Settings by users/license type and "Turn Microsoft Teams on or off for all users of this type" - Toggle to on, hit save.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Christopher Hoard , yes it is happening across all my team pages. And yes good point I think it is something to do with the administration as apparently it is happening to other girls at my school. Thanks for the advice!

Cool thank you @AndrewSimon I will give it a try
