We have a situation where we need to hide O365 group (created as a result of a Team creation) from Exchange and Address book to avoid confusion. After making this change, I am no longer able to access the Group Calendar which was connected to the Teams. Is there a way to deal with this issue?

Depending how your trying to access, but in Outlook you can still get to hidden group calendars by clicking the ... menu and going to the "Folders" view. To get all the group calendars to show, expand "Groups" then Click the "More..." menu there. After that it will expand all the groups, then when you go to "Favorite Group Calendars" they will all be listed for adding to favorites.
If you don't go to Groups and click More first you will only see a few or most recent calendars in the list to add so make sure you do that.

I assume the calendar is added via the known workaround in a website tab? If so, make sure that the new "HideFromExchangeClients" setting is NOT configured for said Group. Having HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled configured is OK, but HiddenFromExchangeClients set to True will prevent the Calendar from being accessed with the OWA URL (https://firstname.lastname@example.org/calendar)

Did you confirm that this is indeed the cause of the issue? Seems so in my tests, but you might be seeing something else. Once we know for sure, we can engage the Teams folks to see what can be done about this.

I imagine that the issue is with OWA/Groups and not Teams. It's probably because the check against the address contained in the URL fails because Exchange can't find it in the GAL. I'll ping the Exchange people about the problem.

The one I tested with is actually visible in the GAL, it's just the HiddenFromExchangeClients option that is toggled. And yes, it's OWA that has a problem with this setting (or more likely is respecting it). But in Outlook we can still access such Calendars, which creates a bit of disjoined experience.

HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled = Hidden when any Exchange client (like OWA) checks for its existence.
HiddenfromAddressListsEnabled = Don't show in address lists.

When you think about this, the behavior is expected. You're trying to use an Exchange client to access a mailbox that you've just hidden from Exchange clients...

We don't have a workaround right now, but I have asked the developers and we'll see what they say. It could be that bringing back the ability to use the URL to display a calendar in the way that Teams does is too difficult or time-costly to get very high up the bug list. Maybe we shall find another way.
Teams is about to hide the groups that it creates. This will happen very soon and when it does, Outlook, OWA, and other Exchange clients will not be able to see these groups. https://www.petri.com/hiding-office-365-groups-exchange-clients

Thus my attempt to bring more attention to this discussion. Sorry for hijacking the thread like that @Tanya Arora, but I believe it's important to get opinion from others on this issue as well, so that we can than bring a better story to the Teams/Groups folks.

For the record, the Groups developers have confirmed that they know why OWA can't display the group calendar in this scenario. There is no guarantee as to when this bug will be fixed, but at least it is on the fix list.

The Set-UnifiedGroup cmdlet still missing the -HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled syntax.
If I open the online documentation, the syntax is there, but if I want to use the cmdlet whit this syntax there is an error message, and the Set-Unifiedgroup -? doesn't shows this syntax.

I'm on targeted release too and was able to run:
set-unifiedgroup -HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled -Identity "Organization Planning"
If you don't see the parameter, you should file a support request.
