Geofencing Shifts or Time Clock

Copper Contributor

(First attempt to post this disappeared, so I apologize if this is a repeat)

Is it possible to set up geofencing with Shifts and, in particular, Time Clock? We're a mid-size university so the geolocation option doesn't work for us. I tested it using our address location and, while sitting at my desk, the app said I was not at the expected location when I clocked in.

I'm assuming the fence would have to be set up in Azure Maps and then assigned to Teams but, preferably, I'd like to have just the Shifts or, even better, Time Clock set up for the fence.

Thanks so much!

The only option you get is to set a workplace location which uses bing maps!

Thanks so much, @adam deltinger

I was afraid that that was going to be my only option.

Oh well.

hy @adam deltinger at the report time clock - shift, is there anyway to show origin coordinates location from the user who was clock in, instead of showing true or false status ?
