I'm looking move my company into Teams and Microsoft phone system by the end of the year. How can I get the "Teams Only" mode? I don't want to mess with SFB at all. We are a small group and no one is using SFB right now. I don't want to confuse my team.

You go to your Teams Admin center and under Org Wide settings, you can see if you can change the drop down to Teams Only. If this option is not available you can follow my blog which shows how you can Powershell to set your tenant to Teams Only mode. https://webbtech365.blogspot.com/2018/08/cannot-set-users-or-tenant-to-teams.html

Ok, thanks. I'll try your blog post. Will that make Teams ring instead of Skype too?

Yes it should. Takes a little bit for it to take hold thou so give it some time. If it doesn't update then you might have to apply some legacy call routing commands but they aren't supposed to apply anymore unless your in Legacy mode.

Now that I made the switch, I no longer have the ability to assign phone numbers or voice. There is no option in Teams Admin and the Skype admin is now disabled. Any thoughts?

The Skype admin doesn't get disabled with the change, not sure why you see that. You still have to set them through that old interface.

This is what am seeing for a new user I created. When I go to a phone number and try to assign this user it can't find it.

The user is assigned a "Common Area Phone" license.
It's probably not applying the license yet, I never use that license yet to know how it functions, can you get to the settings for your other users? There isn't a way in the new admin and I've setup plenty of Calling users since. Just seems like a user provisioning thing in this case.
I think you are right. It still treating that user as an unlicensed user. Any idea how long it takes? I assigned it an hour or so ago.
Have you given it a calling plan?
