Hello,

My team members share a lot of links in our Teams Chat. I was wondering if there is any way that I can make every link shared on the Teams app/web-app to pop up in a new tab in my Chrome (or any other browser)?

Hi @Subrat_Patnaik

I have tested this with Edge: every time a link is shared in a conversation and you click through it creates a new browser tab. I tested on over 50 websites including Bing, Amazon, Google, Wordpress, Tech Community, Twitter.

Hope that answers your question

Best, Chris
Only 50? I think you need to test 250 to be sure.

@Subrat_Patnaik check to see what your default app is for a browser. When I click on a link in Teams, it opens a tab in Chrome but I changed the default from Edge to Chrome. That may be your issue. I can have Edge open when I click a link in Teams and it will still open the tab in my default browser Chrome.
