Contacts not availble from external companies - TEAM IS USELESS

If you are forcing us to go to teams you need to add ALL the functionality to it.  We use it to communicate with all our customers that we SOLD Office 365 to.  Now we cant see them in the contacts area at all! 

Here is what the help says:

All the contacts from your organization are already part of Teams. You can't currently import contacts from outside your organization.

Anyone have a solution?

You can't directly add people to contact groups yet. You do have a few alternatives that aren't ideal until they add that ability.

These assume Teams is configured to allow external communications.
1. Start a new chat, then you can click ... next to contact and "Pin" it to your pinned list in chat tab for use.
2. Once Pined you can click ... and add it to your favorites contacts list.

Unfortunately this is your only option for now.

Thanks - I did that but that is useless and does not even match the functionality in Skype for Business.  Yet they want to force companies to use it.  I am looking at every other solution to replace Microsoft at this point.

They aren't forcing anyone to use it yet. Other than new tenants that have never used Skype to begin with.

Incorrect - they are replacing SFB with Teams.  Fully announced and they are doing my tenant next week

What do you mean by doing it next week? You have the option to go over to teams fully, but not yet forced!The only exeption is when you create a new tenant today with 500 seats or less. Then you won’t have s4b
