Our school board has just opened up access to Microsoft Teams. I'm very excited to use it and just finished delivering a brief staff in-service on the product. I've encountered an issue where, when I try to setup the Class Notebook in Teams it returns this message: "We had a problem with setting up your Class Notebook. Try again in a moment."
I have tried back many "moments" later and with new class teams in different configurations - with students, without, teams with different names ect. - but have had no success at creating a class notebook in teams.
I would like to avoid having to set one up separately but as second semester starts tomorrow and limited time to hold off I may have to abandon Teams this term in favour of a Class Notebook outside of teams.
NOTE: OneNote notebooks work fine with PLC teams, Staff teams, and Anyone teams.
