I've been having an issue where I can't download certain PDFs from certain Teams. I get the message:
I'm trying to download PDF files. If I open the SharePoint site, I can download it. But I just can't open it in the Teams client. Has anyone else had this issue before?

It's the same PDF files, and the users trying to download them are tenant users.

When I copied the file to another team, I was able to download it successfully. I copied it back into the original team, and I still wasn't able to download it. It's weird. I'll create a ticket with Microsoft and see what they say. Thanks!

Got the same issue in my company.
I'm unable to download some files, file preview inside teams works.
I've also some locks on files, like in 90's windows NT. I can't move or delete locked files.
Just need to wait a couple of hours and it works

We are having the same issue, one teacher (not guest) just cannot download certain files at all, there's nothing happening when she clicked download in anywhere. So weird.
Can Microsoft solve this bug asap? I'm the one asking the whole teaching team to move communications to MS Teams from email, and some teachers already felt reluctant for new technology. If more bugs continue to happen, we will never use MS Teams again. It's causing more trouble than benefits.
