Call issue with certified Jabra headset

I have been using Teams for a few weeks with a couple of different Jabra headsets on a MacBook. The latest headset is a Jabra Engage 50 which Jabra advised me was certified for use. When dialling an individual or joining a call with the MacBook connected to a Thunderbolt display I always hear a ringtone on the headset (nobody else hears this) and after 30 seconds or so I am cut off from the call. The MacBook works fine with the headset disconnected, just fails with the headset. I had no such issues with Microsoft Lync for Mac which I used to run. Any advice on this matter greatly appreciated.

Have you updated your headset, if not start with that. Try using it on another computer and see if you get the same problem.

If you have Lync/Skype running on your computer close Lync before making the Teams call.
