Call Microsoft Team Chat from a Web Page

Hello, 

I am using (a href="sip:myname.lastmae@domain.com") in my contact us page. This initiates the skype session directly. 

How can I do it with Microsoft Teams ?. I could see they don't use SIPs anymore. Do I need to use any connector/ JSON code for this?

It shouldn't need to be changed. By the middle of the year Teams will have delivered the integration required so you can receive calls from the Skype Consumer client, or Skype for Business Client, or Team Client.

This protocol handler related to the local machine, the apps that are installed on your client's PCs. You probably can't control what they use.
