We're having a problem trying to install a specific App in a Team. We get the helpful message 'something went wrong' but nothing else. The App is installing perfectly fine in other Teams and other Apps are installing OK in this Team. The Team has been around for some time - about 12 months. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?

@Phil Maynard There's a health warning out for adding third party app in admin - even if it works for some teams, maybe you're caught up in this if it's a problem that hits different areas??

@Robin Nilsson just checked again after the alert in the message centre has cleared and I've still got the issue :( If you have any other ideas then I'm all ears :)

Rats. Nope, nothing comes to mind except the usual debug questions which I’m sure you’ve been through.
App installs in other Teams
other apps install in this Team
So app works with teams in general
this team doesn’t have problems with apps in general
whats different about this team? Public? Private? Anything different about who is an owner?
what other apps are on this team, any possibility of an identity conflict or something weird like that?
Was the team created normally from Teams, or did you groupify/teamify an older site?
Call the vendor I guess.. I didn’t see anything on their webpage

Hi @Robin Nilsson Thanks for the extra thoughts. I've been through all of those and have come up blank. I've plenty of other Teams with the same mix of Apps. There's nothing special about the Group - it wasn't an upgrade from a DL and what's created by Groupifying a SharePoint site. It was one of the first Groups we created but there are other equally old Groups that are working fine. I think I'll need to escalate with Microsoft/Smartsheet :(

All good there too. Thanks though, I'm always up for any more "off the wall" thoughts. Although I've tried most things, there may still be an obvious one I've missed :D

@Phil Maynardtake a look in the Audit Log, there may be some clues that could help.
I would open a Support Ticket with MSFT.
