I am hoping that Microsoft will do something to simplify the Teams interface. I didn't realize what the purpose was for Teams until I saw Slack. I checked Slack out for about two days with a friend of mine. I learned so much and thought I was now ready to use Teams. But the interface, while similar, is completely counter-intuitive compared to Slack. I am not going to use Slack because our company uses Teams. But the interface kills me Even after using it a while, I still catch myself looking all over the place for the simplest of tasks. And if I haven't used it for a while, I come back to the app completely lost. I know many people that feel this same way. Is there any chance the interface will ever be redesigned to look and act more like a Microsoft product?

Thank you for the feedback, @Michael Donovan - It would be really great if you could help us understand the specific things you are looking for when you're trying to do something that doesn't make sense in Teams. What tasks are you looking to do that you can't figure out?
What types of UI adjustments would you like to see to make things more intuitive? Are there things in the Teams themselves or within Chat or call controls that would be more helpful? Do you think there's too much information shown by default or not enough? Share some more information & let us know what specific items you'd like to see that could help.
If you have specific asks, please use our UserVoice to open them so we can track & you can continue to get updates on our progress. It's found here: http://aka.ms/teamsfeedback - thank you for coming to the AMA and I am sorry for the delay in getting back to your question!

@Laurie Pottmeyer Looking back on my comments, I realize I voiced a general frustration but offered no specifics. That's not fair at all. I am going to keep log of things I struggle with and see if I can extract some positive constructive changes. I really wish I had the time to sit down and go task by task some of the stuff I have been able to do easier quicker in other products but I doubt I have the time. That said, I am confident in a couple of days, I will be able to translate some of my challenges to positive suggestions.
