Currently when working on a file in a team channel the document conversation works well and the document can be signed off as completed.

I have a colleague working this way who then wants to move that file to a "completed" folder so archive audit but away from the "live" folder in the channel.

However, moving the file causes the link from the chat about it to the document to break.  A few times it seems to continue working for office docs but never for pdf docs.

Hello Christopher,

That is great feedback. We do understand the Files Views in the chat/channel and how we link to the original document location have some gaps. Our files team is cognizant of these gaps and is planning to address these in the future.

Please use Teamuservoice: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public to log this feedback.

was this idea over logged on uservoice? I would like to vote for it!
