Announcing a Microsoft Teams AMA on December 12, 2018!

We are very excited to announce a Microsoft Teams 'Ask Microsoft Anything' (AMA) for Microsoft Teams!

The AMA will take place on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. PT in the Microsoft Teams AMA Space. Add the event to your calendar and view in your time zone here. 

An AMA is a live online event similar to a “YamJam” on Yammer or an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit. This AMA gives you the opportunity to connect with members of the product engineering team who will be on hand to answer your questions and listen to feedback.

Hope we get to hear about simultaneous multiple teams login, multiple chat windows, Microsoft Store app, better integration with surface hub, quick reply bar in mini call window, faster application interaction.  Integration with outlook (chat button opening teams vs. Skype), etc...

I hope to see better quality screen sharing and sound through slow internet connections, when one of the participants has slow internet connection, the shared screen is very noisy and text on the shared screen is not readable and the voice is not clear. The magical solution for this problem for us is usually to switch to Zoom or GotoMeeting to make our meeting, then the screen and the voice are crystal clear in these apps. We have Office 365 from 2013 but we have a subscription with GotoMeeting for this type of meetings, and some times we use the free Zoom meeting to meet. We face this problem for the days of Skype for Business, and we hoped that a company as big as Microsoft could one day provide better experience than this.

Wanted to add to calendar from the email I received but some 3rd party app "AddEvent.com" wants to "Have full access to your calendars, Access your data anytime, view your basic profile." Ha! I'm sure the security team here would love to use this as a training exercise for the rest of the company.

Better integration between Skype<>Teams. Examples are:
-Screen sharing from teams to a skype user. It now only works it the Skype user has shared his/her screen first.
-How to contact an "island mode" user who is not running the teams app but only the Skype application when yourself are running on Teams Only; Default the message is sent to the Teams stream of the other user which might not see it other than popping up in his/her mailbox as a missed call.
-Federations vs Guest Access.

-When connected as a guest to Teams of another Tenant, with your Windows Teams client, your primary Teams is not responding to telephone calls and chats (as you switched accounts in the Teams client).

@Brian Barbagallo1: Please note this is a third-party tool we use to allow people to add this event to their calendar. You'd have to reach out to the operator of that program if you have issues with the permissions it asks for - using it is not a requirement for attending our AMA.

I'm ready!  I've been experimenting with Kaizala, and I have been using Teams for a long time.  I'm ready to see how MS is going to Marry the two products together.  :)  Thanks for the Invite!!

While many haven't requested this feature based on votes seen within the Microsoft Community, My organization needs Teams to have the ability to merge channels together. A secondary request is for the TEAMs app to allow outside the organization calls to partners or vendors.
