I would like to be able to create folders within Channels so that I can organise videos.  Our videos can be broken down in to chapters for easy access to specific parts of the video so organising in folders would be great.  For example, we are a school and have different subjects.  So if we could have channels such as Geography, History, English etc, then create a folder called "Of Mice and Men" and then have videos in there would make it simple to organise for us.  At the moment with only a channel, we can't use Stream at all.     ... It appears the view count of a video increments relatively quickly. So in my simple clicking around I've already had the view count of a video increment by 4 when I haven't even watched it all the way through yet. I believe it'd be better if you had to watch more than X% of the video before it incremented, or if there were some other "smarter" way of tracking actual views. ... View more

It's currently possible to embed YouTube and Ted.com video's in OneNote pages (watch the clip in OneNote without leaving the page). I presume the "Insert -> Online Video" function works for more sites too.   When inserting an MS Stream link in OneNote, it at first behaves the same way that it would if you were using a link from a supported online service (like YouTube) but then the video can't playback (error message appears from the MS Stream frame: "The video could not be found").   So it 'almost' works - but not quite. Groups are generally set up for specific purposes of "internal collaboration"   It would be good for a Group Channel to have additional permission controls, where they could "publish" out videos to non-group members.   Maybe by default, the Group is the only one with  permissions to access the Stream channel, but it could be enabled to allow external "View Only" users to see the videos without physically being a member of the Group and having access to additional tools, such as Planner, or SharePoint, or Outlook Conversations.   So in essence, the Group is for internal collaboration, and the the Stream Channel attached for the Group could become an company facing interface for video purposes.   Example: Learning and Performance Team has a Group where they conduct internal team-based work.  They use their Group Channel to publish videos to users all over the company.  Instead of having 2 Groups (one for internal business and one for strictly publishing videos).   Having 2 Groups leads to duplication and confusion on where work should be posted, where conversations should be had, etc. ... Office 365 Video offers an additional feature when embedding videos, to adjust the window to the website. This feature works beautifully in Office 36 Videos, but it does not exist in Stream embedding options. This makes the Stream videos more complicated to embed in educational websites that may occasionally change sizes or be used from different types of devices.
