Business needs insight on the effectiveness of enterprise video distribution. For this, they request more in-depth usage/view statistics: time-watched per users, drop-off points, intensity maps, numbers of watches per group, break down per country. Are such more in-depth statistics foreseen on Stream roadmap?
Currently, Microsoft Stream has the ability to track view events. As for the deeper analytics, we currently do not have deeper analytics on a per video level.
We will be eventually be adding a trend of views/vistors overtime along with a drop off chart showing which part of a video people watched (and didn't watch). This first pass will be to try and match what we have already in O365 Video.
We really need the ability to track viewers drop off points. What we are really looking for is the ability to assign a playlist to a new employee and have a report or analytics that shows us if that new hire has watched all of the videos all the way through.
