Controlling mobile devices remotely.

Brass Contributor

Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below query:

As an office 365 administrator I must be able to take up a remote session of users mobile device to troubleshoot issues such as login failure, email/calendar sync etc.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Any pointers would be of great help.

Many thanks in advance!!

Hi @Newlife, there is this option with Intune integration with TeamViewer, it does require a separate purchase however

Use TeamViewer to remotely administer Intune devices

TeamViewer/Microsoft Intune integration enables secure remote support for managed devices, directly from the Microsoft Intune dashboard with remote support for Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, and Android devices.

Hi!

Yes, Intune can integrate with TeamViewer for mobile support sessions and remote administration

https://www.teamviewer.com/en/integrations/microsoft-Intune/

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/device-profile-android-teamviewer

Hope that answers your question

Best, Chris

Hi @Newlife,

I would also look at alternatives like AnyDesk and Bomgar called now BeyondTrust Secure Remote Support.

AnyDesk, small lightwight with Enterprise ready feature set and very cost effective

https://anydesk.com/en/

More mature enterprise solution with full helpdesk queueing support etc. which is also more expensive.

best,

Oliver
