It is an intelligent edge camera that uses Qualcomm's Vision Intelligence 300 Platform and can run AI models in the device itself without sending the data to cloud for processing. Developer Kit enables rapid development cycles and allows you to quickly deploy a new AI model to the camera for testing. Microsoft's Azure services (Azure IoT Hub) allow you to push your containerized vision AI models and other modules to the Vision AI Developer Kit with ease, whether the camera is on your desk or in another country.
Vision AI Developer Kit web pages have tutorials available to get you started quickly. There is also GitHub for VS Code and Jupyter Notebooks based ML development and community project examples to take as a starting point for more advanced projects.
