Azure Monitor: Detecting and Alerting on File Changes

I am preparing for Microsoft Ignite | The Tour and have been playing around quite a bit with Azure Monitor and the Azure Automation state tracking capabilities. One of the features I've found impressive is the ability to track the state of specific files (Windows or Linux) and detect when one of these files has changed. With this information, an Azure Monitor alert can be configured to take action when a file has changed.

I've put together a 5-minute demo of this process in action. If you would like more to learn more see the documentation listed below the video, and come find us in a city near you on the upcoming Microsoft Ignite | The Tour

As a Azure learner (beginner), "View file content change" option is not available despite of attaching a storage account.

Please help on the same. Let me know if any configuration need to change.

My goal is to get alert on any configuration change under /etc/

I am using an SUSE 15 SP5 system.
