Hi! Do this update incorporates DST changes in Russian timezone (kb2998527)? KB 2961522 just says "includes new daylight saving time (DST) updates for Exchange Server 2010 SP3" without any details. Thanks!

After applying UR7, Outlook Anywhere breaks.

In IIS logs we see 403 Forbidden on each Outlook Anywhere request.

After a rollback to UR6 everything worked fine again.

Does anyone else observe the same issue?

Thanks, Leo

Leo,

Outlook anywhere working fine here. Finally upgraded from 2010 SP2 5v2 > 2010 SP3, then SP3 RU7. Haven't found any issues to report on SP3 RU7 yet.

Russian timezone will be correct if you have installed the 2014 time zone update for Russia (KB 2998527) for the Windows Server.

We're currently running in a Co-Existence with Exchange 2010 SP3 RU6 and Exchange Server 2013 SP1 CU5. Is it advisable to update both Environments, knowing that there will be schema updates for both? If so should the 2010 update be done, before updating

2013, or does it make any difference at all?

Concerning this Rollup and an issue it fixes (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2982873). It says it applies to Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP3 when used Exchange 2010 Standard or Enterprise version. Are

they referring to a mixed environment of SP3 patched servers and RTM versions?

If I'm not experiencing any of the issues outlined in this Rollup, is it worth my while to get it? Also, will I need to install it to internet facing servers first, just like installing a SP?

Hi,

I'm currently running Exchange 2010 SP2 UR 8 and Its running perfectly. However I'm going to migrate to exchange 2013 towards the end of the year and I understand I have to be on 2010 SP3 in order to do that.

My concern is that my current SP2 UR 8 is From Jan 2014 and SP3 is from Feb 2013...11 months older.

Can I install SP3 UR 7 and be up to date immediately?... if not what would be the correct upgrade path please?

After installing UR7 i could not create a new outlook profile. At first autodiscover was not working. This could be fixed, the default domain was missing and had to be set. But after that a login window appeard when i tried to create the outlook profile.

Entering username and password didnt help. So i went back to UR6 and after that everything was working fine again.

This update completely botched my Exchange server. It installed two certificates that were misconfigured and interfered with my existing certs. It disabled and removed most of my Autodiscover service settings, as well as negatively impacting IIS and OWA.

The ripple effect that this has caused a multitude of issues across the network. A complete POS.
