I'm working since a few days with excel and need some help.

I have a lot of data for example countries, year and status A or B of a person.

The task is to find out how many people with status X are in country X in year Z.

It would be great if anyone could help me with this problem.

This sounds like something that is very simple to solve using a pivot table. Can you post some sample data?
