I have passwords stored on an Excel sheet which I store on a password protected USB drive, which is then removed from the computer when not in use.  I have just discovered that I can access the file from the open command, bypassing the password.  It seem a copy of the file is being stored somewhere besides the USB drive.

How can I prevent this duplicate storage?

Hello @ken105 , what file location is given in the File > Open command?
