hi! i'm new working with IF function, and i have notice than sometimes, when there's a mistake in the syntax and you let excel do the suggested changes, it replace ";" for a "*" or for a "+" when i nest a If function using "And" or "Or" function together. I don't know when to use each caracter. Please help me!

@liss_reyes,

"*" is equivalent of AND

"+" is equivalent of OR

Not necessary to replace, use one with which your are more familiar.

Didn't catch about semicolon. It depends on your locale (language version) shall you use comma or semicolon as list separator.
