Let me start by saying this happens in both Excel 2010 and Excel 2016. I have a user that in the past has been able to import a pdf into Excel to sort and calculate data. After some Office updates in January 2019, the text import wizard now sees the pdf as Turkish, even though our default language is set to English. Manually changing it to OEM United States seems to give her a lot of garbage when importing the pdf. Converting pdf to text works, but she loses her column structure. Converting pdf using full version Adobe to Excel works, but some columns are bunched together, which she could manually fix, but it's repeated hundreds of times throughout the report. Is anyone aware of an update that may have broke this feature, or have an idea of how to fix this?
