I would like to publish an excel model to a sharepoint site where people can interact with it using Excel Online.
It there a way to do this, but where I prevent people from opening the file in the Excel Desktop application? The reason I want to do this is because there is sensitive information in some hidden sheets. Although these can be password protected, there are ways around that if people are able to download the file.
Are you positive people will not be able to view those tabs in On-line Excel? You should be able to change the user rights of the sharepoint library, but I am not sure if blocking access to edit on-line is one of them. You can set the default to work on-line, but that is already the default.
