Hi Jean-Claude, in what way do you need it to be compatible?
I have some problem to connect PowerPivot for Excel 2013 32 bit and SQL Server 2014 SP1 Enterprise 64 bit, and I wasn't sure if this configuration is OK, because I find only in MS compatibility table, compatibility from SQL Server 2008 to 2012, nothing about 2014.

are you connecting using Power Query (Get&Transform) or direct in Power Pivot?

Given that you are using Exel 2013, you have access to the PowerQuery addin, which will definately allow you to get the data you need. My advice is to create an ODBC connection within Windows, then use that connection to get your data via PowerQuery before doing whatever you want to do in PowerPivot.

Sources I've used successfully:

* SAP IQ

* MySQL

* POSTGRES

* MSSQL 2014 / 2016

Thanks for the answer !
