Recently I was hired as a contractor to develop some complex power pivot reports. The version being used was Excel 2010. I used Power Query to get and transform data. The company is upgrading to Excel 2013. I found that I could not upgrade through Excel 2013 due to power Query issues, so I have rebuilt the reports in Excel 2013. Simpler power pivot reports that did not use power query upgraded with no issues. My question is: Are there any compatibility issues should the company upgrade from Excel 2013 to Excel 2016, Office 365, or Excel 2019?
