Permanently changing print settings

Occasional Visitor

I have a workbook with multiple tabs containing multiple sheets. When I click File, Print, the default comes up with "print both sides". I have selected print entire workbook, one sided printing, but as I scroll from page to page in preview, some of the pages have "print on both sides". I have gone thru page by page and reset each page to "print on one side" and I'm able to print as desired. The problem is that when I save the workbook, reopen it, it goes back to random print on both sides.

How can I save the print settings so I don't have to customize it each time? The old excel versions used to have a "save printer settings on exit".

I don't think printing on both sides is saved with the workbook but is a Windows printer setting. Try adding the printer another time and setting that printer to print both sides.
