So I've run into a fairly basic shortcut issue that is quite annoying and bothersome and have not been able to resolve.
When working in excel, I will copy a number calculated from a formula, and go to paste the value in a different workbook. (Ctrl+C) [this works properly as I see the dotted lines] and then paste with (Ctrl+V).
Initially the past works properly as I see the value paste, but a second later the value changes to a dash as the value changes to the copied formula.
The same happens if I use the (menu key +V+Enter)
What can I do to get my value paste back?
The Ctrl+Alt+V does work, but this is a pain for me as I am not efficient with this process.
