Microsoft Office Standard 2013

We recently were upgraded to the above referenced version of Office.  In Excel,

I used to be able to open the same worksheet on the 2nd monitor and it would let me open it as "read only".  Since the update, I'm not able to do that.  Any reason why?

If you go to View > New Window, you'll have two separate instances of the same workbook. Just drag to the monitors as needed.
