I have a solution that has been working for quite some time that uses the “Microsoft Excel 16.0 Object Library”, suddenly today my application was crashing stating “Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ApplicationClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application'”.
I then discovered for some reason that “Microsoft Excel 16.0 Object Library” is not even listed in the reference manager which leads me to think Excel got corrupted, I have re-installed Office and restarted my PC but it still not being listed.
Can anyone help me please?
