When I type in a 4-digit number (e.g.2926) in a cell set up for number mode it shows the number 29 when I hit "enter". If I put a check on decimal places in format cells: it enters "29.26". In order to enter "2926" in a cell, I must type in 292600 with decimal places turned off. What gives? This is in an Excel spreadsheet that I have been using for years w/o this issue. Something has been turned on that I cannot figure out how to turn off. Any help woulld be appreciated. Tks, Tom
