Help linking to a specifice cell

I am trying to create a hyperlink in a cell only if I enter a value in it. I want this to link to a specific cell on another worksheet.

If I input the letter x into a cell (Sheet15 B2) I would like it to become a link to another specific cell (Sheet 16 A1).

Is his something that is possible? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

With formula, that’s not possible. The input cell must be different from the cell with the HYPERLINK formula.

Thanks for the response. What can I do to solve this. What I am essentially doing is creating a table that when a cell is "checked", I want it to be a hyperlink to another cell on a different worksheet for additional information.

As I stated earlier, the input cell must be different from the formula cell.
