Formulas on excel not updating the imformatiom

I got a file from a colleague with formulas on it, suddenly the formulas stop working and I need to every cell and click f2 and then enter to update the results. If I don't do that the formula is not taking the new values I wrote. Is Excel 2013

Change your excel calculation option to Automatic in formulas menu.
