Formula cross referencing

Afternoon all, I need some help in creating a formula that will generate the amount of 'YES' values within I2:I100 against a date range in B2:100 (Full month span E.G 1/12/18 - 31//12/18). The information is on sheet 1 'Open Incidents' and I need this formula to be on sheet 3 'Stats'

In short I need a formula that will show me the amount of Escalations within the calendar month.

I've taken a look online but couldn't find anything regarding this
