Hello.
Not sure if this is possible or not, but I'm looking for a formula that would break out an assembly part number (in one cell), and list the parts associated with the assembly in other cells in the spreadsheet. For example: I would type in the assembly part number in one cell, let's say it's "RWS8000-018". And when I run my macro script where it lists all the parts we need to order, I want it to list the (3) part numbers that make up that assembly drawing and their qty's. (eg. part #1173908, qty 4, part #70943, qty 4, and 6x6x1/4304MF, qty 1 are needed to create this assembled part.) Is this even possible in Excel? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps you need dynamic dependent lists like those in List Sheet of the attached file.

Thanks for your response. Sorry for the delay, been busy with projects and haven't had a chance to try your sample formula. But when I do, I will let you know how it goes or if I have questions about your same file. @Twifoo
