Hi,
i have large data set of X and Y variables. I am hoping to be able to forecast Y variables by changing the forecast of X. For example if X variable drops 10%, the impact it will have on a range of Y Variables.
I have attached an example with some X variables (interest rates, petrol price, etc). I will to create a template or model which will show the impact on each Y variable if i can change x. I assume i need to find a coefficent of determination for each variable.
Refering to the attached spreadsheet an example i am trying to find:
BHP = Intercept +b1*(Petrol Price) + b2*( Interest Rates) +b3*( Iron Ore Price) + b4*( Interest Rates) + b5*( USD to AUD), and Model - means known b1, b2, ...b5 .
Does anyone know an efficent way to see this up?
