Are you using the key combination:
Ctrl + f
the find box will pop up. Is this what you're doing?
Alt + h + f + d +f
will also pop up the find box
Do you have any macros in the workbook? There are certain macro command that use Application.Onkey which can reassign certain key combinations.
You can also reassign key combinations to macros. Have you perhaps done this unintentionally?
