Excel world chart - World map with US states

I was trying to creat a world chart in Excel with several countries assigned to specific categories and with the exception of the United States, which I would like to have divided by States. Is there any way of having this information in a single chart? I can create a single world map view and another chart with the US States, but not the two together.
