Excel Version 1812 (Build 11126.20266)
I create a file, then use "Save as" Text (tab delimited) to save to the following:
C:\Users\bions\AppData\Roaming\BionWare\BSAcalendar\Foobar.txt
When I go to that folder the file is not there. A search finds it at:
C:\Users\bions\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Office.Desktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Roaming\BionWare\BSAcalendar\Foobar.txt
The first part of the path is like my default autosave location:
C:\Users\bions\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Office.Desktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\
I have tried this over and over, and I see nothing wrong with the way I'm saving. I do this all the time with other applications.
What the heck? Why can't I save to the correct folder?
