I’m trying to copy a number with 16+ digits into a cell and it keeps giving me a weird 6.2936738299 result and it shortens the number when I double click. How do I stop this madness??!

Excel maximum number of digits in a cell is 15.

Here's how to work with numbers containing more than 15 digits in Excel.
