I have one file of updated addresses for my database which contains no Account IDs.

I have one master file which includes the Account ID of all addresses.

I need to create a 3rd file that enters the correct Account ID into my updated addresses file.

Hi

do you have any common (matching) field between the file having the correct addresses and the other file having the Account ID?

whether you use a function (VLookup, XLookup, Index, Match...) or you create a data model in Power Pivot, or you create a Merge Query in Power Query, in all these options, there should be a matching field to combine data from the 2 sources.

if you do, then the ask is easy.

Thanks

Yes, all fields are the same in each file.  I am just missing the Account IDs in the updated address file.
