Excel for Mac 2016
My typical usage involves having spreadsheets open on my primary computer, but then leaving the office and needing to use the same file on my iPad or laptop.
The problem is it appears I can only have the file open and active on one device, while the other device says the file is locked. As I am just coming back to Excel, this seems very strange to see. Have been using Google Sheets the past few years where you can just open and work on a file whenever or wherever you are.
I have checked Finder > Info and the file is not locked. I have checked Properties within the file, and the file is not locked.
Kind of stumped on how to get out of this. Thanks for any help.
