Excel Help for time limit.

Occasional Contributor

Hello experts, please help me,

Is  there any way so that I can limit a cell for a specific period of time in which cell can be edited. After the time limit is over, the cell should not be edited.

Please help me.

You could add Data Validation with a formula

Where the figure of 43585 is the number equivalent of any date

(type a date in a cell and change the format to General)

I have not got it. Please help me. I am not able to understand what you said in your response.

Select the cells you want to protect and the click on Data ->  Data Validation

Then choose the option as shown in the image below

Or this (where A1 is a reference to a cell containing a date)

Hope that helps

Just let me try. I will respond you shortly. Thanks
