Assuming that this is an excel spreadsheet with cell numbers on the left being 2,3,4 etc (just cant seem to fit those number on this page) Can anyone tell me how I would be able to set up a formula THAT WOULD ADD b1 AND C1 ENDING UP WITH (IN THE FIRST A2 CELL) 1986 THE SECOND 2018 THE THIRD WOULD BE 2019, 2018 ETC.

if you want just the year as the result, you can try
=Year(B2)+C2
