Excel Chart Area Size Problem

Copper Contributor

I have a stacked bar chart in Excel 2016 containing 2 data series, with 8761 rows of data in each series. The vertical axis data comprises dates and times (in two separate columns). The current height of the chart area is 4636.28 cms. At this setting however, it stops showing my data points at  row 5638 (out of 8761). If I alter the height to 2984 cms, all the data points appear, although they're smaller in height. The Height field tells me that I should be able to enter a value of up to 5963.92 for the chart area, but it doesn't seem to want to allow anything larger than 2984 without screwing up my data. See the photos for a sample of what's going on. Id like to be able to size the chart area so that each of the bars lines up with it's corresponding row on the worksheet, but I can't make this happen, as it's not displaying it correctly beyond row 5638. I'm using Excel 2016 on a Windows 10 PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Excel bar graph.png
