i have been using this formula in a spreed sheet and it works perfectly now i have been asked to get the same out come of this formula ( sum up letters) in another spread sheet but this sheet has conditioned formating already in please is there any way to make the Countif formula read the condition formating ill add photos to explain.
i have tried this in the past and i couldnt get the Countif formula to count the pre filled information as shown in the picture,
so it is a picture of our roaster and i want to be able to count the number or RDO in a roster period. but the "RDO" are seleted from conditional formated data.
