Command+apostrophe shortcut not working

Hi there, I frequently use command+apostrophe to copy the above cell. I just updated (now using version 16.11.1 180319 for Mac) and this shortcut no longer works. Control+apostrophe works, but I prefer the one-handed command+apostrophe. Any ideas why it stopped working, and how I can get it back?

I have the same problem as well, but what is worst, everytime I use "Command +apostrophe  "  the spinning beachball appears and I Excel no longer will respond so I have to force quit Excel and  restart  Excel  and re-enter whatever data was not saved.  If I cannot use the old Command+apostrophe i would be fine with that BUT WHY does the spinning beachball of death have to reappear ?
